Father John Misty & Adam Green @ Brooklyn Steel night 1 pics / setlist
After playing Kings Theatre, Father John Misty moved his grandiose ‘Pure Comedy’ tour — lights, string section and all — to Brooklyn Steel for two shows with Adam Green opening. While the visuals were just a little scaled-down from what Kings got, the first of those (5/11) was almost an identical setlist, starting with a big chunk of his new album before heading into older material, and then back for more new songs in the encore. Also like at Kings, Josh Tillman kept banter to a minimum, letting his songs speak for themselves.
