Fear of Men giving away limited-edition songbook at this weekend's BV-presented Bowery Ballroom show ++ win tix!
Brighton-based dark, dream-pop band Fear of Men will soon be in NYC, headlining a BrooklynVegan-presented show on Saturday, July 2 at Bowery Ballroom with Puro Instinct and Ski Lodge, making for a great night of hazy, danceable music. Tickets for the show are still available, but if you’d like to go for free, we’ve giving away a pair. All you have to do is tweet “I want to go see Fear of Men at Bowery Ballroom @BrooklynVegan” with a link to this post.
No matter how you got your ticket, the first 250 through the door on Saturday will receive a limited-edition songbook for Fear of Men’s new LP, Fall Forever. You can check out a video of the songbook below. Get there early! Also, BV editor Bill Pearis will be DJing before the show and between sets.
If you haven’t heard it, Fear of Men’s second album, Fall Forever, contains the same soft, ambient shoegaze inspired sounds of their first album, while also sounding dramatic, new and grand. This is the band’s first time headlining a tour, and it’ll be exciting to see all that they can do with their captivatingly dreamy sounds. Puro Instinct are also supporting a new album, Autodrama, and Ski Lodge will hopefully let us here a few songs from their forthcoming new LP, too.
