Fiona Apple shares anti-Trump Christmas song, playing Standing Rock benefit w/ TVotR, Devendra Banhardt & more

Fiona Apple has shared an acapella anti-Trump version of Mel Torme/Nat King Cole’s holiday standard “The Christmas Song” starting with “Trump’s Nuts Roasting on an open fire.” It’s pretty funny, and it’s Fiona Apple, and you can watch it here.

Meanwhile, Fiona has also just been announced as part of a big Standing Rock benefit show going down in Los Angeles soon. The show is on December 18 at the Fonda Theater and features Fiona as well as TV on the Radio, Moses Sumney, Sky Ferreira, Devendra Banhart and many more. All proceeds go to several organizations that benefit the Standing Rock tribe, whose protests of the Dakota Access pipeline recently led to it being shut down. Tickets for that go on AmEx presale Thursday (12/8) at 10 AM and on sale to the general public Friday (12/9) at 10 AM.
