Fiona Apple thinks she'll release her new album "really soon"

We could all stand to hear something good during these crazy times, and Fiona Apple has stepped up to the plate with some truly excellent news. After sharing the title, Fetch the Bolt Cutters, and some song titles and other details, of her long-awaited new album earlier this month, she now reveals, via her housemate Zelda Hallman’s Instagram, that she’s being told (presumably by her label) to release the album in October. “Should I release it, like soon, like really soon? I think I’m gonna,” she says.

Fiona’s first new album since 2012 would be a welcome balm during quarantine, so fingers crossed!
