First Aid Kit recently played Coachella and they'll be back in the US in June for Bonnaroo, a few shows with Jade Bird, and a Red Rocks show with Ryan Adams. Today, they announced yet another North American run behind this year's Ruins. This one goes down in September/October surrounding their appearance at Life Is Beautiful, and most dates are with Australia's folky Julia Jacklin. The LA and San Francisco shows are with M Ward, who First Aid Kit call "our hero."

The run with Julia Jacklin includes a NYC show on September 11 at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (5/11) at noon with various presales starting beforehand. All dates are listed below.

In related news, Julia Jacklin's band Phantastic Ferniture have now signed to Polyvinyl (where Julia Jacklin was already signed as a solo artist), and they'll release their self-titled debut album on July 27 via the label (pre-order). The album's lead single is "Fuckin 'n' Rollin," which has been around for a couple years but was taken down from the internet and now has a new video (directed by Nick McKinlay and Phantastic Ferniture) that you can watch below. In case you're new to Phantastic Ferniture, it's a bit more upbeat than Julia Jacklin's solo material. She says, "I’d gone straight into folk music, so every experience I’d had on stage was playing sad music with a guitar in my hand. I thought, I would love to know what it’s like to make people feel good and dance." Artwork and tracklist below too.
