Washington D.C. trio Flasher, which features former Priests bassist Taylor Mulitz, have announced their debut album for Domino which is titled Constant Image, and will be out June 8 (preorder). The album was produced by Nicolas Vernhes, who’s known for his work with Animal Collective, Deerhunter, and The War On Drugs. Flasher have shared new single “Pressure,” which follows the previously-released “Skim Milk.” The band had this to say about the new track:

“Pressure” is a song that treads the line between queer delight and delirium, and crushing isolation and survival. The video for “Pressure,” made in collaboration with Weird Life films and featuring designer and Chicago based artist An Authentic Skidmark, is a compliment to the paradox of the song itself and an invitation to that world in between.”

“Pressure” continues the band’s driving, colorful energy heard on past releases, such as on their 2017 self-titled EP. You can hear both released singles, and view the album’s artwork and tracklist, below.

Flasher are currently on tour with The Breeders, including their sold-out show at Brooklyn Steel. The band have also just announced a tour with Dehd that includes a Northside Festival show at  Elsewhere on June 8 with Public Practice, the new band featuring members of Wall and Beverly (tickets).
