Fleet Foxes announce 'First Collection 2006 – 2009' box set w/ b-sides & rarities

Fleet Foxes returned from hiatus and released the great Crack-Up last year, and recently began teasing another new album. While we wait for more concrete details on that, they have now announced a limited edition box set of much earlier material, First Collection 2006 – 2009. It celebrates the 10th anniversary of their 2008 self-titled debut album and includes that album, the Sun Giant EP from the same year, their self-released 2006 self-titled EP, and b-sides and rarities. The box will also “feature a 32-page booklet including show flyers, lyrics, and artwork from the period.” It’s due November 9 via Nonesuch in Europe and Sub Pop in the rest of the world (pre-order).
