Sunday night (2/8) many thousands of people gave up watching the Grammys live to catch the reunited Fleetwood Mac play the Prudential Center. Like at MSG, they played two dozen songs to a packed house. Unlike at MSG, Stevie did not return to the stage after the last song, but Mick Fleetwood did supply the closing remarks again. Prudential Center setlist and videos below.
Stevie Wonder was not in the audience. We know this for sure because he was seen on TV all the way on the other coast, helping out Usher with some harmonica for Songs in the Key of Life classic "If It's Magic." Then Stevie and Jamie Foxx (who offered up a bit of his Oscar-winning Ray Charles impersonation next to Stevie) presented the final award of the night, Record of the Year to Sam Smith who won four total. Stevie will be visiting the Prudential Center soon though, on April 14, two days after the "Songs in the Key of Life" tour hits Brooklyn's Barclays Center (4/12). Tickets are on Citi/VIP package pre-sales now (as of 10am). A Facebook pre-sale starts Wednesday (2/11), and then a Live Nation/Mobile App pre-sale starts Thursday. Who has the password?
On Monday (2/16), CBS airs Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life -- An All-Star GRAMMY Salute, a two-hour special with performances by Janelle Monáe, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Willie Nelson, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Usher, and more. You can watch the commercial, along with Fleetwood Mac Prudential Center videos, below.
