California's gloomy dream punks Flesh World, which features Scott of Limp Wrist and Jess of Brilliant Colors, are back with their second album, Into the Shroud, which will be out September 8 via Dark Entries. The first single is a cover of '80s obscurity "Destination Moon" (originally by Solid Space). "Flesh World wanted to re-imagine this trip to the moon," the band told NPR. "But with stop-offs in the land of King Tubby, U-Roy and late-Blondie. Listen to that below.

The band, who were just in Brooklyn for Northside Fest, will be on tour this fall with Sheer Mag. That tour doesn't currently have a NYC stop, but that may change after Sheer Mag plays House of Vans with Royal Headache and Downtown Boys on July 12 (free, RSVP now).
