Flight of the Conchords

Flight of the Conchords members Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie announced last year that they were in the process of writing a movie following the beloved HBO series, and said they were considering a North American tour. While we haven't learned anything new about either of those things, they will be playing their  first show in three years at this year's Newport Folk Festival which happens July 22 - 24. They play the first day (7/22) along with Ray Lamontagne, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Raury, and more TBA. Tickets for Friday are still available.

Saturday and Sunday of the Newport Folk Fest (which includes Father John Misty, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, The Oh Hellos, Villagers, Joan Shelley, and more TBA) are sold out.

Let's hope Flight of the Conchords play more shows around this appearance, or at least come back to the screen soon. You may have seen Rhys Darby, who played their manager Murray, on a very good episode of the current X-Files reboot. You can watch some classic Conchords clips below...
