Floating Points shares “Anasickmodular” video, announces 2020 U.S. dates

Floating Points will release his new album, Crush, on Friday via Ninja Tune and he's just shared the video for single "Anasickmodular." Directed by Hamill Industries, who also produce Floating Points live visuals, it serves as preview for what you can expect from upcoming Floating Points shows. "This music video dives us into behind the scenes of the making of Floating Points live show, showing the machinery involved in creating the audio-reactive visuals," say Hammill Industries. "These are created using audio signals from a Buchla system into a modified Vectrex screen, a game console from the 80s." It's vivid, trippy stuff and you can watch that video below.

You can catch Floating Points live across Europe this November, and he's just announced a few US shows for Spring 2020: Brooklyn's National Sawdust on April 15 & 16 and San Francisco's Gray Area on April 17. Tickets for the National Sawdust shows go on sale Friday, October 18 at 10 AM.
