Floor at MHOW in 2011 (more by Fred Pessaro)

Reunited Floridian sludge-poppers Floor released the first single from their long-awaited new album, Oblation, a few weeks back. They've debuted another today, titled "Find Away" (via Terrorizer). Like its predecessor, "Find Away" doesn't offer much in the way of surprises if you're familiar with frontman Steve Brooks's work; it's built on a big, muscular riff that provides major-key context for Brooks's somnambulant singing. But Floor isn't really about crazy formal experimentation, so that should be no object. Listen for yourself below.

Brooks's other band Torche are playing a previously discussed one-off NYC show at Saint Vitus Wednesday night (2/26) (presented by Noisey). The show's sold out, but you lucky stiffs who scored tickets are in for a treat -- the current two-guitar incarnation of Torche is a far superior live force to the one-guitar iteration that toured between 2008 and 2011.

Stream both "Find Away" and previous single "War Party" below...
