Foo Fighters' Cal Jam '18 lineup (Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Garbage, Krist Novoselic, more)
Foo Fighters are throwing their second annual Cal Jam festival (inspired by 1974’s California Jam), which happens on Saturday, October 6 at Glen Helen Regional Park and Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA. Once again, the Foo Fighters are headlining, and they go on right after an “exclusive one-off reunion” from the legendary Iggy Pop and his Post Pop Depression band, which features Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme & Troy Van Leeuwen, and Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders.
The fest also includes Tenacious D, Garbage (whose Butch Vig goes way back with Dave Grohl to when he produced Nevermind), Silversun Pickups, Manchester Orchestra, The Front Bottoms, Black Mountain, Deer Tick, Gang of Youths, METZ, Anna Von Hausswolff, Dave Grohl’s former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic‘s band Giants in the Trees, and more.
There’s also a pre-show on Friday, October 5 with Billy Idol, Bridget Everett, Mexrrissey, and more.
Tickets go on sale Thursday (5/17) at 10 AM Pacific.
