Fool's Gold Day Off happened in Queens, Migos' set shut down by cops (pics, videos)
The NYC edition of the 2016 Fool’s Gold Day Off parties went down on Saturday (8/20), moving from the 34th St Heliport to Studio Square in Queens at the last minute. The day included A-Trak, Juelz Santana, Lil Yachty, Leaf and a handful of others. It was headlined by the super-fun Atlanta rap tri Migos, whose set was shut down early by cops. The group spoke to Revolt TV about the incident:
Speaking on the incident, the rappers explained it’s “a Migos thing, I don’t think it’s a police thing.”
“Yeah these scary ass cops just shut down the show, I’m pissed off,” said Quavo to REVOLT after the abrupt finish. “People want to see Migos, all the fans wanted to see us.” Although the move left many in disbelief and frustration, Migos meanwhile sent out a positive note to fans after the show, stating, “To all the fans, we apologize and we love y’all.”
