Frameworks at Saint Vitus in August (more by Greg Cristman)

It's a pretty good year for modern post-hardcore bands covering early 2000s indie rock songs (yes that is a thing now). Following Touche Amore's take on The National's "Available," Gainesville rippers Frameworks have offered a cover of The White Stripes' "Fell In Love With A Girl." The cover appears on their upcoming split with The Saddest Landscape, due next week (10/7) via Soft Speak Records. It's part of the label's split 7" series which also includes the Radiator Hospital/Sorority Noise split which came out this week (9/30). Frameworks do the song well and they definitely make it their own. Check it out (via Kerrang) below.

Following the release of this split, Frameworks and The Saddest Landscape will hit the road together in Europe, and upon returning home, Frameworks will support Pianos Become the Teeth on their album release tour which hits NYC on October 29 at The Studio at Webster Hall (tickets). That'll be the second time Frameworks tour with PBTT members this year, as two members of that band are in Frameworks' recent tourmates United Nations.

All Frameworks dates are listed, with a stream of the White Stripes cover, below...
