Frankie and the Witch Fingers releasing 'Heavy Roller' (watch trippy "Get Down" video), touring

Frankie-and-the-witch-fingers

Frankie and the Witch Fingers got their start in Bloomington, Indiana where they honed their fiery brand of denim-clad psych before relocating to Los Angeles. If you feel fatigue with this particular genre, you’re not alone, but their 2015 self-titled album cut through the garage glut like a hot knife on butter, with great songs, spirited playing you could hear even on computer speakers, and heaps of attitude. The band are set to release their new album, Heavy Roller, on Friday (7/29) via Permanent Records, which doesn’t lay off the throttle one bit.

The band have made a video for “Get Down,” directed by Anton Goddard, which finds them on laundry day. If you’ve ever found washing machine psychedelic, this is a whole new trip…and a really fun video. It premieres here and you can watch, along with another video and song stream from the album, below.

You can catch Frankie and the Witch Fingers on tour in August, and they’ll be in NYC to play Baby’s All Right on 8/17 with Pink Mexico and Holy Tunics. Tickets are on sale now.

All dates are listed, along with the tour flyer, below.
