Franz Ferdinand played The Rooftop at Pier 17 w/ Vundabar (pics, setlist, video)
Franz Ferdinand are nearing the midpoint of their Hits to the Head summer tour, and on Saturday night they played NYC at the Rooftop at Pier 17. Vundabar opened, then FF played a set of hits including “Michael,” “Do You Want To,” “The Dark of the Matinée,” and “Take Me Out.” For their three-song encore they played “Billy Goodbye,” “Ulysses,” and “This Fire.” Check out photos by Ryan Muir, as well as their Pier 17 setlist fan-shot video below.

Also playing NYC on Saturday night were Fleet Foxes which reminds us of a time where there were a lot of bands with the same initials.
