Fred Armisen will have a busy next couple of months. Documentary Now!, the IFC documentary parody series he created with Seth Meyers and Bill Hader, returns for its third season on February 20. This season's episodes are based on Netflix's Wild Wild Country (featuring Owen Wilson and Michael Keaton), bowling documentary A League of Ordinary Gentlemen (with Michael C Hall and Bobby Moynihan), Chet Baker documentary Let's Get Lost (starring Natasha Lyonne), D.A. Pennebaker's Original Cast Album: Company (with John Mulaney and Taran Killam), and Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present (starring Cate Blanchett). You can watch the trailer for Season 3 below.

In NYC there will be a screening of the "Original Cast Album: Co-op" episode on February 19 at IFC Center alongside the original Original Cast Album: Company documentary. D.A. Pennebaker, Seth Meyers, John Mulaney will be on hand, along with more special guests to be announced (sold-out).

Before that, Fred is heading out on a comedy tour, kicking off February 4 in Oxford, MS and running through March 2 in Chicago. Dates include the NYC at Beacon Theatre on February 9 where he's opening for Sharon Van Etten (who has been dabbling in standup). That show is mostly sold-out but a few single tickets remain. UPDATE: Fred is no longer able to open Sharon's (now sold out) Beacon Theatre show, but according to her, "he has hand picked a special guest to take his place...and it's so good, but I can't say who it is. You'll just have to find out when you get there!"
