The lineup of free 2017 SummerStage shows is announced, and as always, it includes concerts happening in city parks in all five boroughs (Central Park, Coffey Park, Marcus Garvey park, Springfield Park, Corporal Thompson Park, etc). Here's what's going in Brownsville's Betsy Head Park (located at Dumont Ave & Strauss St).

DC hip hop/go-go vets Rare Essence and DJ Kool team up on June 28 with Felix Hernandez Rhythm Revue opening. Rare Essence recently played NYC at this year's globalFEST.

R&B singer Vivian Green plays on June 29 with youth group Music with a Message, and old school Bronx DJ GrandWizzard Theodore.

R&B hitmaker Ginuwine plays the park on June 30 with Boogie Blind opening.

There's an edition of NYC dance party Everyday People on July 1 with DJs Moma and Rich Knight and live performances, plus a 6 PM beatboxing workshop with Scratch Academy.

Legendary rap producer DJ Premier does a 'DJ Premier and friends' set on July 2. This show is in association with Lyricist Lounge 25th Anniversary Series.
