The lineup of free 2017 SummerStage shows is announced, and as always, it includes concerts happening in city parks in all five boroughs (Central Park, Betsy Head Park, Marcus Garvey park, Springfield Park, Corporal Thompson Park, etc). Here's what's going in Red Hook's Coffey Park.

The highlight of the Coffey Park lineup (and one of the biggest highlights of the entire SummerStage lineup) is the reunited Digable Planets. They play on June 21, and that show features a 6pm pre-show workshop with Scratch Academy.

Rising singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy plays the Red Hook park on June 22 with Alexander F opening.

The great rap producer (and party thrower) Just Blaze does his thing at Coffey Park on June 23. That show is presented in association with MeanRed.

The great new(ish) Florida rapper Denzel Curry graces the park on June 24. It's a relatively early show, going from 5-7 PM. It's presented in association with Move Forward Music.

Legendary Bronx rapper (and Boogie Down Productions member) KRS-One will headline a show on June 25. That goes from 4-7 PM with veteran Bronx radio DJ Chuck Chillout, and a pre-show dance workshop by KwikStep.
