Katie Bennett

Katie Bennett's Philly twee folk project Free Cake For Every Creature is releasing the followup to last year's Pretty Good with a new tape called Moving Songs next week (3/31) via Double Double Whammy (pre-order). We've got the premiere of its new single "The Day To Day," which combine's Katie's hushed songwriting with some high-pitched vocal yips. Listen below.

Free Cake is about to begin a tour with Trace Mountains (Dave from DDW and LVL UP) which kicks off in NYC tonight (3/26) at Shea Stadium with Epoch bands Told Slant and Florist. That's $8 at the door.
