Fuck (the band) released first LP in 14 years, touring (watch "Thirsty Gnome" video)

Long-running West Coast low-fi indie rockers Fuck, who had records you couldn’t show your parents on Matador and Smells Like in the ’90s, have just released their first album 14 years. It’s titled The Band, and its out on Steve Shelley’s Vampire Blues label. The band’s name may be slightly less shocking now than it was when Bill Clinton was president, but little else has changed about Fuck’s MO: fuzzy, snarky, catchy rock that runs the gamut from distorted jams to twee folk. You can listen to the whole album below, and we’ve got the premiere of the video for “Thirsty Gnome,” that is a good example of the band’s weird sense of humor and general attitude to making music. Watch that below as well.

Vampire Blues also reissued Fuck’s first two albums — Pretty…Slow, and Baby Loves a Funny Bunny — last year. Fuck will also be on a short West Coast tour in August, hitting Seattle, Portland and San Francisco. All dates are listed below.

Fuck – 2018 Tour Dates
8/22 Seattle – Crocodile
8/23 Portland – Bunk Bar
