Orange County hardcore crew Fury signed to Run For Cover last year, and now they've announced their first album for the label. It's called Failed Entertainment and it comes out May 3 via their new label home (pre-order). It was recorded by Colin Knight and the band's own Madison Woodward, and they also worked with engineer Andrew Oswald and mixing engineer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden). Andrew Savage (of Parquet Courts) contributed a poem that was used as a spoken word track on the record.

The first single is "Angels Over Berlin," which doesn't sacrifice the hardcore attack of 2016's Paramount one bit, but adds in just a bit more of a melodic side. It's a clear step forward for Fury, and the most accessible thing they've done yet. Frontman Jeremy Stith says the song "sums up what love and being a human means to me." He adds, "The give and take, the power to let go of control, the faith and trust it takes to be vulnerable and open to another person's view as well as open to the inevitable part of love which is grief. Not just romantic relationships, but all relationships; even the one you have with yourself." Listen and check out the full tracklist below.

Fury also have a short West Coast tour with the legendary Gorilla Biscuits, and they're playing SXSW. Their live show rips, so if they're playing near you, don't miss 'em. All dates are listed below.
