Future Islands have shared the the video "Ran," the first single from their forthcoming The Far Field. The band made the video with filmmaker Albert Birney and, yes, it features a lot of singer Samuel T. Herring running like the wind, through forest and (far) field. You can watch that below.

The band, who played NYC's Bowery Ballroom just a couple weeks ago, have added some tour dates to their busy 2017 schedule. They'll next play NYC as part of Panorama fest. If you're going to SXSW, they'll be there too for the 4AD showcase with The Lemon Twigs, SOHN, Aldous Harding and Merchandise. Updated dates are listed below.
