Future was added as a last-minute headliner to Hot 97 Summer Jam, but sadly it was not to be. Weather cancelled the outdoor stage, and because of the cancellation of the nearby Governors Ball, Kanye (who would have headlined GovBall) made a surprise appearance at Summer Jam. The show ended up running late, and Future's headlining set was cancelled:

Bummer. That was the second festival mishap for Future this weekend, after his Roots Picnic set in Philly was cut short a day earlier due to sound issues.

He also had to cancel some European dates, including Montreux Jazz Lab, which he would have played on July 4. He was replaced by Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign. Future has several other shows coming up on his co-headlining tour with Drake.

Young Thug's Summer Jam set earlier in the day was cancelled too.
