Gang Gang Dance announce new album (listen to a song), European tour (and a NYC show this week)

Gang Gang Dance will release their new album, Eye Contact via 4AD due on 5/10. Check out the first song “Glass Jar” – it’s streaming below.
When the record comes out, the band will be in the UK as part of an overall European tour that will last the NYC crew through the end of May. Outside of the dates across the pond, Lizzi and co really don’t have much lined up for the US thus far, except for a show happening this Thursday, 3/3 at Angel Orensanz Foundation.
The NYC event, called “The Night Event”, is a “party, a concert, and a work of art” that will feature video installations, art, and music from Didi Gutman of The Brazilian Girls, AndrewAndrew, the Vintage DJ and more. The Night Event can definitely claim truth in advertising, as it is a night-time event that is part of the 23rd Annual Art Show (March 2-6, 2011 @ Park Avenue Armory).
