Gary Higgins playing Brooklyn with Ed Askew & Alice Cohen this week
Psych-folk legend Gary Higgins, the man behind the treasured 1973 LP Red Hash, who re-activated his career and even put out new music a few years back, will return to NYC this week. He plays Shea Stadium on Wednesday (7/20) with fellow obscure veterans Ed Askew and Alice Cohen providing support. LeCompte is on the bill as well, and tickets are available.
The only other date Gary has announced is Wesleyan University on July 26. No other shows for Ed or Alice at the moment.
