Gas playing first US shows in 8 years around Day For Night fest
Earlier this year, veteran ambient musician Wolfgang Voigt released his first album as Gas in 17 years, Narkopop, the followup to 2000’s classic Pop. He played Barcelona’s Primavera Sound in the spring, and was just announced on the lineup of Houston’s Day For Night festival today. Surrounding that festival, Gas will play a few other US dates, which are his first US dates in eight years.
The dates include a Brooklyn show at new venue Elsewhere on December 19. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (9/22) at 10 AM.
Gas also plays Toronto’s Unsound Does Halloween in early November. All dates are listed, with a stream of Narkopop, below.
