Geto Boys' Bushwick Bill diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer

Bushwick Bill, one of the founders of legendary Texas rap group Geto Boys, has sadly been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The 52-year-old tells TMZ he was diagnosed in February but had been keeping the news private, except to close family members. He’s “currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments … but he says it’s too early to tell how his body’s responding to the chemo.” He also says that the stage 4 diagnosis was a surprise because he had been getting tests for a mass on his pancreas, which his doctors said was benign.

He also mentions he’s working on three new albums, and possibly a book and a documentary, so he’ll have more recent income for his children in case he passes away. You can watch him tell it in his video for TMZ, below.

Sending love to Bushwick Bill. Fuck cancer.
