Giant Peach

Giant Peach released a new album, touring (dates, LP stream, new video)

Giant Peach

Brooklyn indie punks Giant Peach followed their 2016 debut album Tarantula (Don Giovanni) with But You Made Me Such A Beautiful Thing on Dead Broke Rekerds today. They softened their sound up a bit for this album, as you can tell from the single “Flowers In The Road,” which just got the video treatment (directed by the band’s singer Frances Chang). It’s more like slow-paced ’90s indie rock and only really punk in its raw production and DIY spirit, but it’s good stuff in its own way. That video premieres in this post, and you can watch it, along with a stream of the full album, below.

The band is playing a hometown record release show at Union Pool tonight (6/1) with Ghastly City Sleep, Eight, and Never, and they’ll hit the road for a tour later this month, including more hometown shows at Bushwick Public House on 6/22 and Alphaville on 7/11, and hometown-area dates in New Haven and New Brunswick. All dates are listed below.
