Girl Band announce new LP and tour (listen to "Shoulderblades")

Irish group Girl Band are back and will release second album The Talkies on September 27 via Rough Trade. You can listen to the shouty, scratchy first single “Shoulderblades” now, which finds Girl Band not having mellowed in the four years since their debut. The video, directed by Bob Gallagher, is intense as well — watch that below.

Girl Band have also announced a short North American tour for October that hits Chicago, Allston, Philly, DC and wraps up at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Hall on 10/8. Tickets for Elsewhere go on sale Friday, June 7 at 10 AM. Dates are listed below.
