Goldenvoice closes some of its CA venues due to coronavirus
Mass gathering bans are being enacted all over the country, and world, to try to help control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and in California, state public health officials' current guidance is that gatherings of 250 or more should be rescheduled or cancelled. In response, concert promoters Goldenvoice have closed some of their venues through the end of the month. Here's their statement:
Goldenvoice's venues include El Rey Theatre, Fonda Theatre, Microsoft Theater, Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, and The Novo in Los Angeles, Fox Theatre Ponoma in Ponoma, Frost Amphitheater in Stanford, Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Social Hall, and The Warfield in San Francisco, Santa Barbara Bowl and The Regency Ballroom in Santa Barbara, and The Roxy Theater in West Hollywood.
