Gonzales taking residency at Joe's Pub, Still Life Still add a Brooklyn show
You may remember Gonzales from his piano battle with Andrew W.K. at Joe’s Pub last September, which Gonzales won. Gozales returns to the same venue this February for a four-week, Thursday night residency where he’ll present his Piano Talk show, which includes lots of talking, jokes and guests (Jamie Lidell showed up in September) (don’t expect a piano battle between him and Andrew again though).

Gonzales’ fellow Canadians and Arts & Crafts labelmates Still Life Still have an NYC residency of their own. They’re at Mercury Lounge for four Wednesdays in January (the first of those was last night). They also play Death By Audio on January 11th, and tour with Wild Beasts in February (which includes Bowery Ballroom and MHOW shows).
