Grade playing NYC after Fest (where they play with Hum, City of Caterpillar, more)
Canadian post-hardcore/emo band Grade are active but their shows are few and far between these days, so any chance to see them is one worth taking. They're among the many bands playing The Fest this year, and they play a stacked show on Saturday, 10/28 at 8 Seconds with fellow reunited bands Hum, City of Caterpillar, Majority Rule, and Career Suicide, plus other cool bands like Iron Reagan, Frameworks, Sweet Cobra, Drug Church and more. You can still get tickets for The Fest and also for just that show. Full lineup and set times for that show, below.
A few weeks after The Fest, Grade will come to NYC to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Austin-based show promoters Slip Productions (who have a history of throwing shows with cool reunited post-hardcore bands). The show happens November 18 at Saint Vitus and also has We Were Black Clouds and Descender on the bill. Tickets are on sale now.
Those are only the only Grade dates we're currently aware of. Watch some old Grade videos below.
Sweet Cobra have their own Vitus show too, on December 6 opening for Shiner offshoot The Life and Times, with Ageist on the bill as well (tickets).
