Gramma's Boyfriend (featuring Haley Bonar) releasing new LP, share "Forget The Stones" & playing CMJ

Haley Bonar, who released 2014’s very good Last War, has another band called Gramma’s Boyfriend. With this band, that also features members of Cloak Ox and Andrew Bird’s band, Bonar further explores her late-’80s alt-rock leanings, taking things into danceable dark new wave territory. Gramma’s Boyfriend’s new album, Perm, will be out via Graveface on October 9 and you can stream the synthy/smoky “Forget The Stones” below.

Gramma’s Boyfriend will be in NYC for CMJ, playing the Panache showcase at Knitting Factory on October 14 with Slim Twig, Ezra Furman, Drinks, Juan Wauters, Sheer Agony, and Babe Rainbow. Tickets are on sale now.
