Ultragrrrl (who I saw on some VH1 show that was playing on a TV inside chickpea Saturday night) is freaking out because the Killers got nominated for three grammys. She forgot to mention that Franz Ferdinand were also nominated for at least three.

U2Log celebrates U2’s nomination, Country Music says congrats to Loretta Lynn, and although happy for Maroon 5, Maroon5biggestFan is a bit upset with the Academy.

Lastly, Jake Novak lists the Top 5 Least Popular Grammy Awards.

I would like to say congrats to Bjork for breaking through to the other side (again and again) (nominated in ‘alternative’ and ‘mainstream?’ categories), Prince for getting nominated even though no one realized he put out an album, and the academy for admitting that Evanescence belongs in the same category as Hoobastank,

Also congrats to Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, PJ Harvey, Wilco, The Beastie Boys, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, The Shins (nominated for ‘best recording package’ whatever that means), and Scissor Sisters(one more time).
