Grateful Dead's Bob Weir touring with new trio Wolf Bros this fall

Now that Dead & Company are done touring for this year, Bob Weir has announced a new run of 2018 dates with his new trio, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros. The Wolf Bros are Jay Lane (who previously backed Bob in RatDog and Further) and musician/producer/Blue Note Records president Don Was. According to Bobby, they’ll be “exploring the songs of the Grateful Dead and more in a trio setting.”

The tour goes down this fall from coast to coast, and includes NYC-area shows in much more intimate rooms than the ones Bobby tends to play with Dead & Co: Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on November 9 & 10 and Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre on November 18. Tickets for the Cap shows and the Beacon go on sale Friday, August 10 at 10 AM with verified fan and VIP presales starting Wednesday, August 8, and more presales after that. All dates are listed below.

Watch Bob Weir play “Eyes of the World” with his former Grateful Dead bandmate Phil Lesh and Phish’s Trey Anastasio at Radio City earlier this year, below.
