The annual Long Island music fest Great South Bay Music Festival returns July 12-15 to Shorefront Park in Patchogue, NY. As usual, there's a day that honors Long Island's emo/hardcore history. There's also a ska day and two jam days.

Day one is emo day, with contemporary NJ heroes The Front Bottoms, early '00s post-hardcore heroes Thrice, and influential '90s emo vets The Get Up Kids, and more.

Day two (ska day) has Sublime with Rome, Less Than Jake and more. Day three has Umphrey's McGee, JGB featuring Melvin Seals (aka the current version of "Jerry Garcia Band" with longtime member Melvin Seals), and more; and day four has Electric Hot Tuna, Little Feat, a "very special headliner" (TBA April 1) and more. Full lineup and tickets HERE.

The Front Bottoms also have an upcoming EP and tour.

Thrice are working on a new album and also playing Welcome to Rockville and Carolina Rebellion.

Hot Tuna also have several upcoming tour dates as usual, including an Electric Hot Tuna at NYC's Beacon Theater on Thanksgiving Eve (tickets).
