Toronto fuzzed-out rock band Greys have shared a new LP, a companion piece to this year's excellent Outer Heaven, called Warm Shadow. The album is available via bandcamp as a pay-what-you-want download, with proceeds from the release going to benefit Sistering, a Toronto based, trans-inclusive women's shelter.

As for the album, it's a more experimental, less immediately accessible album that is culled at least partially from material written and recorded during the Outer Heaven process. You can listen to that here:

Greys also have a handful of tour dates coming up, including headlining shows as well as opening slots for the likes of Japandroids, Bully, and White Lung. Those dates include 3 shows in NYC.

First they'll be at Aviv on October 13 with support from Big Ups and Yucky Duster. That show is the release party for the upcoming 33 1/3 book on the Jesus and Mary Chain's Psychocandy, so perhaps you'll get a cover or two from that.

After that they'll be opening those two Japandroids shows at Knitting Factory Brooklyn on October 28 and 29. Both of those are sold out, but if you do have tickets, it's worth showing up on time to catch Greys.
