Grizzly Bear & Spoon announce co-headlining tour, including Prospect Park
Long-running indie bands Grizzly Bear and Spoon are both still going strong and both had very good 2017 albums, Painted Ruins and Hot Thoughts, respectively. Now they're set to go on a co-headlining tour together this year, with excellent support from Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.
The tour includes a show just outside of NYC on June 19 at the Capitol Theatre (tickets), and a BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival show on June 20 at Prospect Park (tickets). Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday, March 9 at 10 AM, and $1 of each ticket sold will go to PLUS1 "in support of Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund’s mission to prevent gun violence and build safer communities." All dates are listed below.
UPDATE: Grizzly Bear also added a Wellmont Theater show of their own right before their shows with Spoon (tickets).
