Toronto quartet Grounders' will release their self-titled debut album via Nevado next week (5/12). Made with David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Holy Fuck), the record takes a traditional '60s pop sensibility and fries it till golden brown, glistening and modern. A stream of the whole album makes its premiere in this post and you can listen below.

Grounders will be on tour soon, with two NYC shows: May 28 at Studio at Webster Hall and May 30 at Palisades. No word on the other acts playing those shows, but tickets for The Studio are on sale now.
