Gus Dapperton touring, playing Rough Trade, SXSW & more (listen)
20-year old Warwick, NY songwriter Gus Dapperton has been picking up some buzz for his 2017 debut EP Yellow and Such and the single that followed, “Prune, You Talk Funny.” Dapperton, who had his start producing instrumentals for local rappers, is continuing to make a name for himself as a solo songwriter, with influences ranging from ’80s synthpop to jangle pop. Gus played a sold-out NYC show at Mercury Lounge last November, and he’s got several more tour dates coming up, including a return to NYC on March 1 at Rough Trade. Tickets for that show are on sale.
Gus will also be appearing at the 2018 edition of SXSW in Austin, TX. All of his dates are listed below.
