hackedepicciotto (Einstürzende Neubauten / Crime & the City Solution) touring in December

German-based duo hackedepicciotto — aka Alexander Hacke, a founding member of Einstürzende Neubauten, and Danielle de Picciotto, who played in Crime & The City Solution and co-founded The Love Parade — make complex, dark music that’s steeped in European folk traditions as well their post-punk backgrounds. (Hacke is also a throat-singer which adds a surreal layer to their sound.) Their most recent album is Menetekel, which was released late last year and you can stream it below.

hackedepicciotto have East Coast North American dates in December with Eric Hubel of the Glenn Branca Band, beginning with two NYC-area shows: Jersey City’s WFMU Monty Hall on 12/5 (tickets) and NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on 12/6 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
