Haim announce new album 'Women in Music Pt. III,' share "The Steps"
Haim have announced their new album, Women in Music Part III, which comes out April 24 via Columbia. “The name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing, so I told my sisters,” Danielle Haim says. Alana Haim adds, “I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way, so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative. It made me think about some of our experiences more.” “I just thought it was funny, plus the initials are WIMP3,” Este Haim says. “Wimp is a hilarious word.”
New single “The Steps” is accompanied by a video directed by frequent collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson, who also directed the trio’s other most recent videos. Danielle co-directed, and you can watch it below.
