Hamilton Leithauser began his Café Carlyle residency (night one pics & setlist)
Former The Walkmen frontman and active solo artist Hamilton Leithauser began a 10-night run at NYC's upscale Café Carlyle last night (1/16). He had a pool of songs picked out for the show, and ended up playing 12 of them, including a mix of solo material, music from his collaborative album with Rostam, music from his collaborative EP with former Walkmen bandmate Paul Maroon, and a cover of Tom Paxton's "Annie's Going to Sing Her Song." Pictures of night one are in the gallery above and the setlist is below.
The residency continues tonight (1/17) and wraps up on January 27.
