Handsome Dick Manitoba arrested for domestic assault

Richard “Handsome Dick” Manitoba of influential NYC punk veterans The Dictators has been arrested for domestic assault, NY Daily News reports.

According to the article, police records state that Manitoba was charged with choking ex-girlfriend Zoe Hansen, who he has a teenage son with and shares access to an East Village apartment with. Hansen also added, “He bit me. He bit my nose. He grabbed my neck and applied pressure.”

Manitoba faces three counts of third-degree assault, one count of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, and one count of second-degree harassment.

Manitoba was arrested at his apartment, and is due in Manhattan Criminal court on March 26.
