Happy Easter! Nobunny releasing stuff, currently playing guitar (as Justin Champlin) for Hunx (like at Glasslands tonight) -- dates & stream

Easter is almost here, and punk rock bunny Nobunny has two holiday treats for you to get ready. The 73-second pop nugget “At the Mall,” off his forthcoming Record Store Day 7-inch MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL EP, is one (stream below). The other is the on the cover of that record. See if you can spot it below.

The masked rocker has a full-length due in June on Goner and no scheduled gigs coming up besides an April 8th show in Baltimore. Of that, he writes, “Here we am heading into the 2nd quarter of 2012 and NOBUNNY has only played 10 shows this year?!?! Why and what the who? Well, I wanted to make #11 special so I will be performing my 11th show of the year on the day of my 11th birthday!” Why the one-off? Nobunny alter-ego Justin Champlin is currently on tour playing guitar for Hunx. See them tonight at Glasslands with Natural Child.

Nobunny also has a 7-inch coming out May 8th on Suicide Squeeze, a label that’s put out some mighty good 7-inches lately with releases (see Bleached, King Tuff).
