Harry & The Potters, Kimya Dawson & more playing 2019 Yule Ball

Wizard rock duo Harry and The Potters returned earlier this year with Lumos, their first new album in 13 years, and went on a North American tour, mostly of libraries, over the summer in support of it. That’s over now, but HaTP do have one live date coming up: they just announced the tenth annual edition of their Yule Ball holiday show. It happens at Brooklyn’s Bell House on Saturday, December 14, and tickets are on sale now.

For the 2019 Yule Ball, HaTP will be joined by indie pop great Kimya Dawson (who made an appearance as Hermione on “Where’s Ron?” from Lumos), Potter Puppet Pals, fellow wizard rocker Ashley Hamel, and The Dead Ringers. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales benefits The Harry Potter Alliance.

UPDATE: Harry and The Potters, Kimya Dawson, and Potter Puppet Pals are also bringing the Yule Ball to Washington DC’s The Black Cat on December 13, and Cambridge, MA’s The Middle East Downstairs on December 15.
