HBO's Watchmen

HBO's 'Watchmen' teaser trailer is here (watch)

HBO’s Game of Thrones has only two episodes left now, but there are other reasons to tune into the network, including the Deadwood movie and then, later this year, Lost and The Leftovers co-creator Damon Lindelof‘s upcoming adaptation of Alan Moore’s beloved graphic novel Watchmen. It’s set to debut this fall, and a new teaser trailer for it has been released, which includes our first listen to the Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross-penned score. Watch it below.

Rather than a direct adaptation of the source material (like the so/so 2009 film, directed by Zach Snyder, tried to be) or a sequel, the HBO series is set to be a Watchmen “remix,” set in present day, in the same universe. The cast, meanwhile, will include Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing and James Wolk.

HBO also recently shared three short video teaser instagrams, which you can see below as well.
