Heart Bones, the duo of Sean Tillman (aka Har Mar Superstar) and Sabrina Ellis (A Giant Dog), originally gained notoriety by touring a tribute to Dirty Dancing, but are now surviving on the merits of their own kitschy, catchy '80s-inspired pop. On Sunday night at Le Poisson Rouge, Sean and Sabrina made the most of the show's in-the-round format, circling the stage with their band set up in the center. They haven't totally abandoned Dirty Dancing either, covering Eric Carmen's "Hungry Eyes" as well.

Good Fuck, the duo of Tim Kinsella and Jenny Pulse who have been on tour with Heart Bones, had to cancel their opening set at the last minute due to a family emergency, so Simon Doom (MGMT) played a short acoustic set in their stead. Pictures from the night are in the gallery above.
